You need to stick to the strategy provided above – using Deku Flower to stun him followed by targeting the large eye – to kill the boss. If you shoot enough arrows, then he falls down and you can attack him with your sword. For this strategy, you target him and go to his backside where you can shoot arrows. You can use your Deku mask or your sword. Like the fairy locations, there is nothing wrong with it. Odolwa is the boss for Woodfall Temple and is an okay boss battle. Gekko jumps on the ceiling and you need to shoot him with arrows.Īwesome idea and awesome execution. He rides him around, and you need to become a Deku Scrub and go in and out of flowers to hit the bottom of Snapper. It's nothing special, but then comes phase two. Basically, the first step of the battle is just hitting Gekko. Gekko and Snapper is one of my favorite mini bosses in Zelda. I think this fight would be better if he was harder to beat with more hits, or maybe something like the floor is ice, so when he breathes fire you run the risk of falling in lava. No. You need to fly in and out flowers, and get to a platform where you play the monkey's song, and then AND ONLY THEN can you get into the dungeon. You go on several platforms and get to Woodfall. He teaches you a song, but then the king throws you out. So you need to get magic beans from this creepo on the right of this palace, then sneak up by using the magic beans, dodge all of the Deku chumps, and eventually get to the monkey. Then, you get a boat ride from her, which leads you to the Deku Palace. The gist is that you need to save one of the Twinrova girls from OOT.
